RECEIVER managers have been appointed to the company behind the proposed tallest building on Chevron Island.

Jet Construction Australia (JCA) was moved into receivership late last month.

The Surfers Paradise group had plans to build the island's tallest and bulkiest building, with council rubber-stamping its application late last year.

According to Australian Securities and Investments Commission documents, the company's receivers are BDO Business Recovery and Insolvency's David White and Andrew Fielding.

The documents show Perpetual Nominees Limited is the controller of the company.

The company's directors are Marina Cher, of Benowa, and Spartak Gogiya, from Russia. According to the company's website, the managing director is Alexander Cher.
