EasyFood - Healthy meals now in vending machines
EasyFood Limited has commenced the development of a range of healthy meal options for sale in vending machines. The EasyFood Ready Meal has an un-refrigerated shelf life of 2 years and is ideal for the vending machine Industry.
There are approximately 40,000 vending machines operating in Australia, however the Company reports that there is pressure on operators to find high quality, healthy meal offerings.
Easyfood has recently been in talks with Melbourne Company, Australian Vending Solutions Pty Ltd. The Companies have agreed to conduct a trial of EasyFood Healthy Option Meals in 200 of Australian Vending Solutions' outlets.
The meals will be in a tray format, including a high quality meal with rice, a "spork" and napkin. The meals will only need heating for a few minutes in a microwave before consumption.
The outlets chosen will include call centres, hospitals and schools. After the trial, the Company is aiming to expand the project into hundreds of other sites around the country.
