EasyFood - EasyFood develops products for major international diet company WeightWatchers

EasyFood Limited is pleased to announce that the Company has been given permission by "WeightWatchers" to release information regarding developments between the two companies.

The Company reports that WeightWatchers has sought approval from its US Parent to proceed with the development of a range of shelf stable products using the EasyFood process. This is the first time that WeightWatchers has ever manufactured and marketed a product under their own management. The WeightWatchers brand is amongst the Top 20 selling brands in Australian supermarkets.

It is expected that the products will be sold through venues such as the 1400 weekly WeightWatchers meetings held in Australia, as well as the successful WeightWatchers Health Centres.

In commenting on this strategic customer alliance, EasyFood Limited's Managing Director Paul Grogan said "having WeightWatchers as a customer in our mind really cements EasyFood as the international best practice standard for the designer and manufacturer of long life, shelf stable meals for the diet industry and underpins our growth forecasts. We are thrilled with this development."

In other news, EasyFood Limited was featured on Alan Kohler's "Inside Business" program on the 11th of April. In the interview, Paul speaks about the Company's contracted deals in India and the United Kingdom, as well as the history of the business.
